Take a bit of nature with you wherever you go! This rustic botanical necklace has loads of boho charm and looks great alone or layered with other pieces. A cluster of sterling silver leaves accented with ruby zosite and black onyx beads hangs from an extra long 30" rolo chain. Each leaf was hand sawn from recycled sterling silver sheet metal or hand fabricated from recycled sterling silver wire. A brushed oxidized patina brings out the textured details in this piece.
A sterling silver bar chain with wire wrapped beads at one side transitions to a sterling silver cable chain that is interrupted by jump rings at two points on either side and ends in two handcrafted hook clasps. The clasps can be used with each other, the jump rings along the chain, or at the large ring at the base of the necklace which means this piece can be worn at 4 different lengths (30, 25, 18, or 15 inches).
This piece was hand fabricated by me, Erin, in my private studio using traditional metalsmithing techniques including sawing, soldering, texturing, and more.
