Aventurine is a type of quartz characterized by inclusions of Mica or other minerals that give a shimmering effect to the stone. This one of a kind botanical necklace features an 18 x 26mm oval aventurine cabochon in a shade of pale green.
Each of the floral details on this sterling silver piece was fabricated by hand. Each tiny element was hand drawn, hand sawn from sterling silver sheet metal, filed into 3-dimensional forms, textured, and sanded before being soldered to the piece. Because each element was created by hand this piece is truly one of a kind.
The pendant hangs from a sterling silver chain that ends with a handmade hook clasp. This piece was created using recycled sterling silver sheet metal and wire and was finished with a brushed oxidized patina and sealed with wax.
